Two nights later, he had three shots and a goal against Wisconsin for the championship. That ability was a perfect complement to an already dynamic defense that gave the Gophers a fortunate mismatch against almost every opponent.

With five game winning goals this season and 12 in his Minnesota career, the senior has a knack for scoring in a tough spot.
